The Ugly Duckling
January 17, 2012 Associates Program
It was roughly eleven years ago when now Worldwide Chief Creative Officer, Tham Khai Meng, joined the Ogilvy roster. And one of his first contributions to O&M was a book called, The Ugly Duckling, a cautionary tale of creativity. It is a storybook of lessons on how to produce good work. The caption below comes from the heart of the book and ironically, addresses the heart of advertising: ideas.
So, without further ado, enjoy. And be sure to stay tuned for more passages from The Ugly Duckling.
